Sales at GEN-I combines a wide range of knowledge and skills and covers cooperation with large business customers (B2B) and end users (B2C). We secure the supply of electricity and natural gas, the development of sustainable products, and support for the energy independence of our customers. We build long-term partnerships and provide competitive offers based on flexibility, digitalization, and sustainable solutions.
Our work directly contributes to the company's revenue, supports financial growth and long-term stability, and strengthens GEN-I's role as a leading provider of energy-efficient solutions. Our reliability and focus on customer needs have been confirmed by numerous awards, including eight consecutive Trusted Brand awards for the most trusted electricity supplier in Slovenia and three Customer-Friendly Supplier awards.

Our work
Key tasks include acquiring new customers and maintaining the trust of existing customers. One of the biggest challenges is tailoring communication to individual customers based on their needs – we treat each customer individually and take all relevant information into account when preparing an offer to ensure a successful conclusion to the sales process.
B2B sales
The team works with large business customers in Slovenia and abroad, preparing tailored energy solutions, procurement strategies, and market updates. It ensures the supply of electricity and gas, energy offtake, and self-sufficiency solutions (solar power plants, storage systems, and energy communities). Through active asset management and market risk management, it ensures supply stability and supports customers in achieving their long-term business objectives.
Retail/B2C sales
B2C team focuses on selling energy and services to households and SME segments in Slovenia. Provides customer advisory, tailored offers, and top-tier support for digital tools like the Moj GEN-I portal. Recognized for responsiveness and reliability, the team builds long-term relationships based on trust, transparency, and satisfaction.
