Promise for the Planet - €100,000 for sustainable innovation

At GEN-I, environmental responsibility and social impact are integral to our business strategy and company values. We also recognize the importance of strengthening connections across different fields and working together on shared challenges to help shape a more sustainable future. 

Through our sustainability call for applications Promise for the Planet (Obet za planet), now entering its third consecutive edition following the positive impact of our first initiative, we continue to support innovative solutions that deliver measurable environmental and social impact and contribute to sustainable development. 

This year, we will once again provide a total of €100,000 in funding to selected projects recognised for their potential to drive meaningful change. 

The call supports solutions addressing key sustainability challenges, including emissions reduction, improved energy efficiency, waste prevention, circular economy approaches, sustainable mobility and transport, support for vulnerable groups, improving quality of life in local communities, and other similar initiatives. 

It is open to associations, non-governmental organisations, private institutes, and start-up companies developing sustainability-driven projects or solutions. Selected projects will receive financial support to enable implementation and further development. 

We consider Promise for the Planet a long-term commitment to sustainability and a continued effort to support ideas that strive for meaningful positive change for our planet – our shared home.
