Smart Self-Supply one of the innovations of the year at the Posavje awards

GEN-I and GEN-I Sonce are already well-known for their ability to innovate and to adapt quickly to changes on the market. Now they can add another to their list of successes in the field of innovation, with their advanced Smart Self-Supply package having recently scooped a regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry bronze award as one of the best innovations of the year. The award was given by the Posavje Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Krško, along with its national partners: the Ministry of the Economy, Tourism and Sport, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and its SPIRIT Slovenija and ARIS agencies, and a number of the region’s well-established supporters of innovation. 

Smart Self-Supply is an innovative package that offers households the highest possible level of energy independence. It includes solar power with a battery energy storage system on a turnkey basis, electricity supply at a fixed and reasonable price, the opportunity to sell any surplus energy back to GEN-I, and advanced storage system management that brings a guaranteed fixed monthly discount. The Smart Self-Supply customer can enjoy electricity costs that are 60 to 80% lower on an annual basis. We also offer interest-free repayments over five, seven or ten years. Our solar power and storage systems are constructed on an all-inclusive “turnkey” basis.
