Zero tolerance for corruption and unlawful conduct
GEN-I, d.o.o. was informed through media reports on Saturday, 26 September 2026, of the detention and legal proceedings in Romania involving Gregor Hudohmet, Managing Director of its subsidiary GEN-I Sonce, d.o.o. At this stage, we do not yet have any official or detailed information regarding the proceedings. Given the seriousness of the allegations reported, we emphasize that the GEN-I Group has zero tolerance for corruption and any form of unlawful conduct and will immediately undertake all necessary actions to clarify the circumstances.
According to Romanian media reports, the proceedings are taking place in another country and under its legal framework. Therefore, GEN-I, d.o.o. is not in a position at this stage to comment on individual allegations or to prejudge the reporting of Romanian media. GEN-I Sonce, d.o.o. will fully respect any proceedings and respond appropriately to their findings. To date, neither company has been officially contacted in connection with this matter. Should the competent Romanian investigative authorities contact GEN-I Sonce, d.o.o. or GEN-I, d.o.o., their representatives will fully cooperate with the investigators and provide all necessary information and documentation within the scope of their authority.
As the parent company of its subsidiary GEN-I Sonce, d.o.o., GEN-I, d.o.o. takes the allegations reported from Romania with the utmost seriousness. Accordingly, the Management Board of GEN-I, d.o.o. will convene an extraordinary session today to review the information currently available and the circumstances of the case, and to adopt all necessary measures to protect the company, its employees, customers and business partners.
At the same time, we emphasize that the GEN-I Group is committed to the highest standards of integrity, accountability and compliance in its operations and maintains zero tolerance for corruption and other unlawful conduct. We therefore leave the legal assessment of this specific case entirely to the competent authorities and will respect their findings and decisions. Should any irregularities be established as part of the official proceedings, the company will act decisively, responsibly and in accordance with the applicable legislation.
The public will be informed in a timely manner of any further relevant findings and measures adopted.
